Join us for a thought-provoking evening as Dr. Mohsen Milani sits down with Dr. Vali Nasr to discuss his new book 鈥淚ran鈥檚 Grand Strategy.鈥� Challenging common portrayals of Iran as an irrational theocracy driven by ideology, Nasr鈥檚 book explores how Iran's foreign policy is shaped by deep-rooted concerns over external threats 鈥� particularly from the U.S.

Vali Nasr is the Majid Khadduri Professor of International Affairs and Middle East Studies at Johns Hopkins鈥� School of Advanced International Studies. He was selected as the Henry Alfred Kissinger Distinguished Scholar by the Library of Congress for 2024-25.
ABOUT Dr. MOHSEN MILANI
Mohsen Milani is the executive director of the Center for Strategic & Diplomatic Studies. He was a research fellow at Harvard, Oxford and the Foscari 泡芙视频app in Italy. He has been interviewed by over 150 national and international media outlets, reaching out to millions of people across the world. Since 2000, he has been invited to over 200 conferences in 27 countries.鈥�
