Book Talk: A Conversation with Vali Nasr

Presented by The Center for Strategic & Diplomatic Studies

Join us for a thought-provoking evening as Dr. Mohsen Milani sits down with Dr. Vali Nasr to discuss his new book “Iran’s Grand Strategy.” Challenging common portrayals of Iran as an irrational theocracy driven by ideology, Nasr’s book explores how Iran's foreign policy is shaped by deep-rooted concerns over external threats — particularly from the U.S.

Following the conversation, Vali Nasr will be available to sign books. Copies of “Iran’s Grand Strategy” can be purchased on-site from the USF Bookstore.
