Dr. Valentina Iturriaga received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International 泡芙视频app in Miami, FL. In 2020, she completed her Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling at Florida State 泡芙视频app. Valentina continued her graduate education at Florida State 泡芙视频app, earning a Doctoral degree in Human Sciences with a concentration in Human Development and Family Science. Her research expertise involves risks and protective factors for Latine young adult and adolescent socio-emotional adjustment. Specifically, during her graduate career, Dr. Iturriaga examined stressors (e.g., acculturative stress, financial strain), cultural strengths (e.g., ethnic-racial identity development, ethnic-racial socialization), and the family system.
