Social work ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps participate in Legislative Education and Advocacy Day

School of Social Work ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps participated in this year's virtual National Association of Social Workers Legislative Education and Advocacy Days alongside hundreds of other ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps, faculty, and social work professionals in Florida. On the first day, they received advocacy training and learned about important legislation before the state legislature that would affect social workers and their clients. The following day, ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps met with the legislators, including State Representative Anna Eskamani.
