David Kilmnick, PhD, an assistant 泡芙视频app of instruction of social work, received an award for "Outstanding Faculty Contribution to LGBTQ Life at USF" at the USF Lavender Ceremony. MSW 泡芙视频apps Kristin Dawes and Nicole Guittard were also recognized at the event and received certificates of achievement.
The Lavender Ceremony is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ 泡芙视频apps at the university to participate in a graduation ceremony that celebrates their community. LGBTQ+ 泡芙视频apps and allies were acknowledged for their achievements and contributions to USF.
Kilmnick is a leading national advocate within the LGBTQ+ communities and is the founder and President/CEO of the New York LGBT Network. At USF, he recently supported the approval and establishment of the USF Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG): LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Association. Kilmnick is the contact with USF Human Resources and serves on the leadership team working with faculty from the Muma College of Business and USF Health.
