Dr. Vickie A. Lynn is the Chair of the Face-to-Face MSW Program at the ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp and Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services. She brings a background in social work and public health to her work as an educator, researcher, and practitioner. With more than a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Lynn values collaboration and a supportive learning environment that prepares ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps for practice in diverse health and social service settings.
Her research and teaching interests include simulation-based learning, technology
in social work education, interprofessional training, integrated models of care, and
HIV-related health and social services. Recent projects have examined the use of virtual
clinical simulations to strengthen MSW ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp competencies, with attention to technology
adoption and instructional design.
At USF Health, Dr. Lynn plays an active role in Interprofessional Education Day, bringing
together ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps from multiple health disciplines to strengthen teamwork and problem-solving
skills. As Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services, she contributes
to advancing scholarship at the intersection of education, healthcare, and social
work practice. Her work reflects a commitment to bridging education, research, and
practice to prepare future professionals and improve service delivery in communities.
