From Castle Schools to Developmental Tools: Trajectory of Ghana's Educational System

Dr. Kofi Acheaw Owusu, a senior lecturer in the Department of Science Education in the College of Educational Studies, ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, recently spoke about Ghana’s journey in education, bringing to the forefront the gains and struggles of the education system from pre-colonial to the current dispensation. See below for the full lecture.  

This past summer, he worked with USF faculty on an NSF funded project to engage Ghanaian high school ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps in authentic science research related to water and sanitation issues. He is currently visiting USF to further collaboration between UCC and USF.
