The USF College of Engineering remains committed to strengthening community partnerships across the Tampa Bay region. On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the college participated for the third consecutive year in the o at Raymond James Stadium. TAs Tampa Bay’s premier technology and innovation conference, the event brought together entrepreneurs, investors and academic leaders to foster collaboration and drive technological advancement.

USF’s exhibit highlighted faculty-led research initiatives in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and sustainable infrastructure. The university also showcased collaborations with local startups and industry leaders, underscoring its role in developing Tampa Bay’s tech sector and preparing ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps for careers in emerging industries.

The Synapse Summit recognized Innovation Award winners, including the Indienomicon Foundation and Veterans Entrepreneurship Initiative (VEI), and emphasized Florida’s strength as an innovation hub. USF continues to play a vital role in advancing cutting-edge research and fostering industry partnerships.

The university’s presence was supported by faculty and staff, including Tiffany Parra, Donna Rock, Norma Alcantar and Ryan Wakefield, who contributed photography, videography and 3D-printed materials that enhanced the exhibit’s visual impact. The 3D items were especially popular among ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp attendees.
