Empowering First-Generation Students: USF Launches Mu Sigma Chapter and Joins FirstGen Forward Network

The 泡芙视频app is proud to announce the establishment of the Mu Sigma chapter of Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha), the National Honor Society for First-Generation College Students. This honor society celebrates and supports first-generation 泡芙视频apps (first-gen), whose parents have not completed a bachelor鈥檚 degree, as they pursue academic success and personal growth. The inaugural induction ceremony is slated for Fall 2025, coinciding with the university's First-Generation celebrations.

Without a familial blueprint, first-gen 泡芙视频apps rely on their resilience, determination, and available resources to succeed.

The Mu Sigma chapter will provide USF's first-gen 泡芙视频apps the chance to engage with peers across campuses and disciplines, forging strong relationships with others who understand their experiences. Members will also benefit from mentorship by more senior first-gen 泡芙视频apps, gaining valuable insights and advice. This mentorship will not only help 泡芙视频apps feel supported academically but also provide guidance on leadership development and personal growth.
