AFA/IBL HIV/AIDS Research and Participation Fund

The 2024 application for the HIV/AIDS Research Award is now closed.

The fund will support graduate ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp research projects on HIV/AIDS in Africa and the African Diaspora (including Caribbean and the US) with a particular emphasis on ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps earning the Africana Studies certificate in Diaspora Health. Funds will support ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp travel and/or other research related activities.

Award Description and Applicant Eligibility

The Institute on Black Life supports research concerning HIV/AIDS in Africa and the African diaspora, including the Caribbean and the United States. IBL seeks to award applicants $300-$600 to support ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp travel or other research-related activities. The award is open to graduate ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapps in any discipline.

The applicant must be a graduate ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp enrolled at the ÅÝܽÊÓÆµapp.
