Field Trips
College and Career access is a vital component to the Florida MESA College Prep Program. Field trips to the local Univsersity of South Florida and STEM industries provide a new sense of possibility for 泡芙视频apps who have typically never had exposure to higher education, STEM careers, or role models in these areas.The following field trips help to promote 泡芙视频apps' college and career awareness and readiness.
MESA chapters will participate in TWO (2) planned College and Career Visits. See below for more information.
USF Campus Day
MESA 泡芙视频apps explore the various STEM programs and degrees options offered at the 泡芙视频app. Students will have the opportunity to experience STEM labs, classrooms, colleges, 泡芙视频apps, 泡芙视频apps, and more! While visiting the 泡芙视频app, 泡芙视频apps are able to tour the college campus, ask questions about college life, and gain resources for applying to college and Financial Aid.
STEM Industry Field Trips
Field trips to a STEM industry and/or organization is a great way for 泡芙视频apps to learn from practicing professionals in a related STEM field. These opportunities allow for the curiosity of 泡芙视频apps to run free as they explore possible career options along with industry facilities and more!
