In LIS5020 Foundations in Library and Information Science, Dr. Denise Shereff aimed to prepare ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps for professional engagements in the field of library science while simultaneously familiarizing ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps with AI and its applications in the discipline. Learning designer Meghan Wieckowski collaborated with Dr. Shereff to incorporate AI into career-readiness assignments by having ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps use ChatGPT to create resumes and cover letters. This approach not only helped ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps craft professional documents but also provided practical experience with AI.
