Hope Spot Festival

Each year the Hope Spot Festival celebrates environmental justice by throwing a community get-together in Dunedin, the hometown of local legend, Sylvia Earle. Along the coastal front, folks gather to exchange food, commodities, ideas, and activities all rooted in sustainable action. This year, USF ܽƵapps and ܽƵapps from the Patel College of Global Sustainability came out to represent the ܽƵapp's environmental science programs. Grad ܽƵapps involved in the ܽƵapp organization, G.L.O.B.E. participated in the beach clean-up, while Professor Dr. Culhane delivered energized lectures to audiences, keen to hear about the latest technologies and research that are pushing the envelope for environmental justice. Riding off the energetic momentum of Hope Spot, the PCGS ܽƵapp, and ܽƵapp organization continues their collective journey toward sustainable development at the Rosebud Continuum, a testing ground for green technologies. All ܽƵapp ܽƵapps are invited to join in on the collaborative process and can learn more about the PCGS community at the G.L.O.B.E. social event taking place at Rosebud on Sunday, March 13th.
