Madeline Corona, ECM advisor

Madeline Corona, MPA
ECMadvise@usf.edu

Madeline Corona comes to USF from Salt Lake City, Utah where she spent the last 15 years assisting ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps in major and career exploration, and helping those in academic difficulty to navigate the higher education experience. She also worked closely with underrepresented ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps such as first generation, low income, ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps from varied backgrounds, and ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps with disabilities. She believes all ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps deserve the same opportunity to reach not only their academic and educational goals but also their lifelong goals.

Madeline has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and Communications Media and a Master of Public Administration with Emphasis in Higher Education Administration from Southern Utah ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp. She also has some coursework done in Law from the Pontifical Catholic ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp of Puerto Rico, School of Law.

She loves musicals, theatre, movies, long walks in the great Florida weather, exploring nature, and eating at good restaurants.

Tina Sallie at tinarsallie@usf.edu

With over 20 years of experience, Sallie knows how to help ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps navigate their college journey. She takes a holistic approach to advising, which means she looks at the whole picture—personal, academic, and career goals. She works with ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps to assess their needs, set achievable goals, and develop practical plans to succeed. Through regular meetings, she helps ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps discover their strengths, interests, and values, connecting them to experiences and opportunities that align with their career aspirations. She also stresses the importance of using available resources to build a foundation for lifelong success.

Before joining USF, Sallie was the associate director for the Office of Academic Advising at Nova Southeastern ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp, where she led a team of over 20 advisors and supported more than 5,000 business ÅÝܽÊÓƵapps across Florida, the Bahamas, and Jamaica.

Sallie earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, an MBA, and is ABD (All But Dissertation) for a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp.
